Keeping Children, Young People and Adults Safe

Burford Surgery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children, young people, and adults with care and support needs.

Everyone has the right to feel safe and be protected from abuse, neglect, exploitation, discrimination and bullying. Our staff are trained to recognise safeguarding concerns and take appropriate action to keep people safe.

If We Are Concerned About Safety

We have a duty to share relevant information with appropriate agencies where necessary to protect a child or vulnerable adult from harm. Where possible we will discuss this with you, but there may be circumstances where we are legally required to share information without consent.

Are You Worried About Yourself or Someone Else?

If you are experiencing abuse, neglect, domestic abuse, coercion, exploitation, bullying, or are concerned about someone else, please speak to a member of our team. We are here to help.
