COMBINED FLU & COVID CLINICS – UNDER & OVER 65s – APPOINTMENT ONLY

Flu clinics will not commence until after the 3rd of October. This is in line with new government guidelines. Flu vaccines will not be licenced to give prior this date anywhere including Chemists.
We will be contacting all eligible patients by text / phone during September 2024. You will be able to book directly into the Flu clinics should you wish to do so.
Our two Saturday clinics will be held on the 5th and 12th October 2024 via a pre-bookable appointment system. We will be filling up these clinics first before releasing further slots during the weekdays.

From 1st September 2024
- Pregnant women
- Children aged 2 or 3 years on 31st August 2024
- Children aged 6 months to under 18 years in clinical risk groups
From 3rd October 2024
- Aged 65 years and over
- Aged 18 years to under 65 years in clinical risk groups
- Care home residents (living in long-stay residential care homes)
- Carers
- Close contact of immunocompromised individuals
Please try & avoid calling the practice to book your Flu jab as the practice will be unable to cope with the call volume.
We kindly ask for your support by attending our flu clinics rather than visiting a local pharmacy for your vaccination. We have already purchased the vaccines, and last year, we incurred a financial loss due to unused doses. Your participation in our clinics will ensure that we continue providing essential healthcare services to our community.
